If you’re still wanting to come down with the FPC crew to Kennywood on Friday, August 13th, the new and final deadline to let me know is Sunday, August 8th.
We’ll be teaming up with the Geneva College/WORD-FM folks, and here’s what it’ll look like:
The cost is $23 a ticket, and that gets you:
• An all-day fun pass
• A Geneva/WORD-FM t-shirt
• A pair of sunglasses
• A Kennywood Park scavenger hunt with prizes
You can bring your $23 on the 13th and pick up your ticket at the Kennywood Will-Call booth. If you tell me by August 8th that you’re coming, a ticket will be waiting for you! Everyone’s responsible for their own food & drink during the day.
We’ll plan to meet at the FPC parking lot at 9:15am and leave by 9:30. I’m going to be needing to head back pretty early, so we won’t take a van down – but when we meet at the parking lot we can carpool if that’s something you’d like to do.
As for when you need to come back – that’s up to you! The tickets are good until 10pm. If you do carpool down there, make sure your passengers have a ride back too!
